[*] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide 988 suicide and crisis lifeline representative services.
- Provide 24/7 confidential support, de-escalation/interventions, and resources to those in crisis or concerned for loved ones in crisis, through telecommunications.
- Responsibilities:
- Answer and triage 988/Lifeline calls following Vibrant regulations.
- Maintain and enter accurate and timely documentation of each encounter while on a call.
- Complete follow-up calls on a daily basis.
- Assist callers in an empathic, professional, courteous, nonjudgmental manner.
- Interact with empathy, confidence, and professionalism with the public and co-workers.
- Apply the dynamics of the crisis intervention model and engage in problem solving processes with each call as needed.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques, motivational interviewing, collaborative problemsolving skills, crisis interventions and/or suicide practices and techniques as needed.
- Gain familiarization and utilization of community crisis referral system.
- Maintain current knowledge of available community/clinical resources and direct callers appropriately as needed.
- Warm transfer calls as appropriate to other call centers/providers.
- Adhere to established Quality Improvement indicators provided by Vibrant standards.
- Assist in training of interns/new staff as assigned.
- Comply with all Agency, State, Federal, and Vibrant required trainings timely.
- Perform clerical tasks as assigned.
- Work alternate shifts as assigned.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality while performing all duties.
