[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide 911 nurse triage line services.
- To create and manage a 911-associated nurse triage line program, which is a secondary telephone triage conducted by an emergency care nurse during the 911 call intake process.
- The system shall be integrated into City’s 911 system with a bidirectional CAD interface and make available a web portal for alternative destination points of referral.
- Provide the operational infrastruc-ture and equipment, program management, system design, system integration, personnel, and over-sight to implement and manage this effort.
- Establish a comprehensive Secondary Telephonic Medical Triage and Nurse Triage Line system to divert appropriate low-acuity 911 callers from the emergency response system to a non-ED clinical setting by using an evidenced-based clinical decision-supported system for secondary triage of low-acuity 911 calls between the hours of 7 AM to 11 PM, seven days per week, 365 days per year.
- System shall have the ability to receive 911-transferred and direct calls along with the ability to transfer and migrate calls, voice, and other data back to the 911 Call Center for dispatch.
- Shall be capable of integrating its call and database technology with the City 911 CAD system.
(2) A pre-proposal meeting will be held on November 14, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for five years.
(4) Fiscal 2022, the city received just over 160,000 calls for emergency medical services, which resulted in approximately 88,000 transports to local area emergency departments.
