[*] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide after hours answering services.
- The volume of calls varying by department and day of the week, after hours service operators are expected to answer calls within one minute, triage, and route calls correctly.
- All phone calls will be handled in a timely fashion and sent via text or phone call to the attending physician or APON.
- The physician will confirm receipt of voice mail or text.
- If the confirmation is not received within 30 minutes, the physician of APN must be contacted again.
- 100 % of after-hour calls must be answered by a live operator.
- Maximum Wait and Hold Time: After hour calls should be answered in less than one minute.
- For phone calls related to prescription refills, the following information must be provided:
• Caller’s name and phone number
• Name of facility calling from; i.e. hospital, nursing home
• Patient name
• DOB
• Medication needed to be refilled
• Pharmacy name and number
• Patient call back number
• Date and time of call
• Attending Physician
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 7, 2023.
(3) The contract term will be one years.
