[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide after-hours mobile crisis response team services.
- Providing community-based mobile crisis and crisis intervention services for county residents.
- Crisis services shall be available to residents experiencing behavioral health crises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
- Include an After-Hours Crisis Response Team that will respond throughout County to provide face to face assessments and assist clients that have self-identified or have been identified by family, friends, community members or local law enforcement as having a behavioral health crisis.
- The After-Hours Crisis Response Team shall maintain a positive relationship and ongoing communication, as appropriate with the County Sheriff's Office while providing field-based responses.
- Crisis Services to an outside provider for the hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours.
- Mobile crisis services are designed to provide relief to beneficiaries experiencing a behavioral health crisis, including through deescalation and stabilization techniques: reduce the immediate risk of danger and subsequent harm; and avoid unnecessary emergency department care, psychiatric inpatient hospitalization, and law enforcement involvement.
• Trauma- informed on-site intervention for immediate de-escalation of behavioral health crisis.
• Trauma sensitive: Respond to the crisis through the lens of trauma exposure, emphasizing physical, psychological, and emotional safety for both the caregiver and child/youth. Help to create opportunities for individuals to build a sense of control and empowerment.
• Skill development, psychosocial education and initial identification of resources needed to stabilize the client.
• Immediate coordination with other providers involved in the client’s care.
• Immediate coordination with other crisis receiving and stabilization facilities
• Provision of harm reduction interventions, including the administration of naloxone to reverse opioid overdose, as needed.
• Strength based - Focusing on the strengths of the caregiver and child/youth
(2) The contract period will be for one year.
(3) Crisis services shall be available to residents experiencing behavioral health crises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
