[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide immigrant resource hotline services
- To implement and manage a Immigrant Resource Hotline that utilizes a toll-free number operating during normal work hours to answer inquiries about immigration policy, make legal services referrals, provide “know your rights” on immigration court process, immigration application, locate detained immigrants, as well as provide information to access free social services support that helps meet client needs in food, housing, education, medical, counseling services, disaster recovery, and transportation
- To provide high-quality Hotline services and familiar with the immigration processes
- Collect and share anonymized data with County regarding all information gathered will be key for developing evidence regarding the impact of the Hotline and could be used to inform future efforts to secure funding for new and existing programs
- There are almost 100,000 cases pending in four (4) non-detained immigration courts, and ninety (90) percent of people go unrepresented. The average non-detained case takes between 560 to 1,218 days to resolve, leaving the lives of these families hanging in limbo for years
- County-organized conference calls, convening, or trainings to share best practices for Hotline serving immigrants.
- To engage and/or educate communities (including communities impacted by immigration enforcement) regarding immigrant rights
- The Hotline provider shall operate the Hotline during regular business hours, maintain accurate and current information on immigration policy, practice and procedures, referral networks, and resources to respond to social services, healthcare, basic needs, and housing inquiries.
- The Hotline provider shall maintain a database of the Hotline calls for analyzing issue trends, immigration legal and social services need of residents.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 11, 2023.
