[*] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide protective services answering service.
- Provide federal and state mandated 24/7 emergency response answering services for county department of social services adult and aging services and family and children’s services divisions.
- Follow any provided social services protocols
- Maintain the dedicated 800-number for adult and aging services and family and children’s services forwarded calls.
- Emergency: Direct the caller to dial 911 if they state their situation, is a life-threatening emergency
- Non-Emergency: Provide caller with appropriate county service area, or other community-based agency, phone numbers and hours of operation
- Provide mandated emergency response answering and referral services
- Provide answering services for calls rolled from county offices between the hours of five pm and eight am, Monday through Thursday and twenty-four hours a day Friday through Sunday.
- Provide answering services twenty-four hours a day, three hundred sixty-five days a year for HELP Line calls
- Ensure employees do not render medical, legal, or other advice
