Vendor needs to provide 911 emergency dispatch services to handles all police, Fire and ambulance calls for service via 9-1-1 and regular telephone line.
- handles walk-in requests for service
- Receives and transmits radio communications to law enforcement agencies and police patrol cars for appropriate action
- Receives fire calls, transmits fire alarms, and dispatches needed personnel and fire equipment
- Receives ambulance calls and dispatches needed Emergency Medical Technicians and equipment
- Maintains a daily radio log of all incoming and outgoing communications
- receives and answers telephone, radio and video display inquiries of the National Crime Information Center for law enforcement agencies of the state.
- Receives and records telephone complaints from the general public for police assistance
- Handles walk-in requests from the general public for police assistance
- Maintains an assuring and calming attitude during periods of stress and emergency in order to avoid unnecessary delays by responding emergency vehicles.
