Vendor needs to provide youth hotline violence prevention services.
- Ensure that staff who will function as the call or text responder have completed the following training modules before beginning this work:
- Mental health first aid.
- Trauma-informed care.
- Conflict de-escalation.
- Provide all equipment necessary for the technical operation of the phone line.
- Partner to develop and share materials that promote the phone line throughout the community.
- Provide evidence of how callers’ personal information will be held in confidence.
- Ensure daily, 24-hour coverage of the phone line.
- Provide monthly reports detailing the number of calls fielded, and the extent to which callers report that they plan to abstain from violence as a result of the phone interactions provide a detail plan on how the phone line will be promoted.
- Projected number of households or individuals that your organization will reach on this project.
- Discuss in detail the benefits for selecting organization.
- Submit a plan for providing monthly progress reports.
- Provide a list of any social media platforms that your organization utilizes.
- Provide any limitation that your organization would have with working with multiple demographic areas, youth and various economic levels.
