[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal

[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide professional 24- hours-per-day, 7-days-per-week, and after-hours answering services for medical and dental providers.
- The selected entity agrees to provide the 24-hour nurse telephone triage service and answering service.
1. Provide support for the answering service 24-hours-per-day, 7-days-per-week, including after-hours answering service, telephone triage, assessment, and disposition by a Registered Nurse. Case
disposition may include instructions for home care, referral to a community resource, referral to an
on-call provider (CHS PHCs), instructions to see a private physician or referral to 911.
2. Be responsible for the management and administration of the answering service, including
employment, training, supervision, evaluation and remuneration of support and allied health
personnel.
3. Maintain CHS PHC program data within the agency database.
4. Coordinate to return CHS client calls.
5. Comply with all reporting requirements.
6. Ensure monthly data on patient calls include whether on-call provider was called. This data as well as summary data will be provided electronically via a secure medium (e.g., Secure Email).
7. Provide evidence of a quality assurance program that can be reviewed by agency.
8. Provide CHS the opportunity to review and approve protocols provided for use on clients.
9. Fax a copy of each client encounter to the appropriate CHS site by the next morning after the
encounter occurred.
- Billing
For billing purposes, any incoming forwarded or transferred calls are considered one (1) call, this includes nurse triage callback attempts to callers whereby a voice message is left or there is a non-answered call (for patient safety purposes a minimum of 2 call attempts to reach are made and documented which would be considered one (1) call). Nurse or answering service calls to community services agencies will not be billable.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
