[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide student aid file verification, student loan default management or prevention and call center services.
- access to data (for example, a College web portal providing up to date information on different cohort years, borrower level data including updated demographic data and skip tracing results).
- obtain borrower data from all federal loan servicers and/or from the National Student Loan Data System
- update data at least weekly
- use skip tracing during the borrower’s grace period before they enter into repayment
- provide a toll free number for colleges and borrowers.
- remain on the line with the borrower and servicer to completion of the recommended solution (deferment, forbearance)
- to ensure right party contact and proper grace period education, including repayment options, deferment or forbearance availability and demographic data confirmation and update.
- load borrowers’ data into their company’s default management software.
- collaborate with college to customize scripts for agents to assist with re-enrollment counseling
- work to ensure right party contact and resolve delinquency.
- Demographic data will be confirmed and updated with each successful contact
- provide Early Intervention Services during the six-month grace period from the time the students leave college until they enter loan repayment
- solution must be compliant with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act
- maintain a quality assurance plan to ensure accuracy.
(2) All questions must be submitted in writing no later than April 15, 2021.
