[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide resources, information, referrals, support and strategies to deal with family violence and bullying. Currently, users can call the toll-free line 24/7 and access the online chat feature between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily. In the new proposals, the expectation is to expand support by adding text messaging and chat service, both 24/7.
- Provide FVIL and BHL to Albertans 24 hours a day, seven days a week;
- Establish multiple ways for Albertans to access the FVIL and BHL, including access by toll free telephone, by online chat service and by text messaging service;
- Provide access to FVIL and BHL to all Albertans, including those in rural remote areas and on Reserve, those who require TTY assistance (for deaf and hard of hearing) or translation services, and those of diverse populations (including immigrants, newcomers, Indigenous, and LGBTQ2S+).  
- Provide access to helpline operators who are trained to offer highly specialized services, such services which:
• identify and assess the needs of helpline users with respect to family violence and bullying in county;
• Determine and provide an appropriate response to helpline users based on assessed need; and
• Provide support, information and referrals as required in relation to helpline users’ needs.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
