[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide patient entertainment, communication and collaboration solution for patient entertainment, patient education and point of sale along with patient information, education, clinical applications such as nurse call, documentation systems and any other relevant systems.
- Clinical Information System: - The new PECC Solution will be required to integrate into the electronic health records known as “One Person, One Record Clinical Information System” (“OPOR – CIS”). This is a provincial initiative, currently in procurement.
- Other Systems: - Systems currently in use and other systems NSHA and IWK would like the PECC solution to integrate with include the following: Vision version 6.15, Med Dietary, CBORD Net Menu, Hill-Rom Nurse call V3.6.500 & V3.9.101, CenTrak Real Time Location Services.
- Patient Entertainment: - The PECC solution should allow patients to have 24x7 access to a broad choice of entertainment and communication options. Management of the entertainment service providers should be included as part of a managed PECC Solution. The following content should be included as entertainment options in the PECC Solution:
• News, Weather, Movies, Shows, Local Content
• Streaming Music / Radio
• Telephone Services
• Internet Browsing
• Video Conferencing (e.g. Skype)
• Video Games – self-contained games with no accessories required
• Interactive games suitable for children of all ages, teens and adults with different levels of capabilities
• Social media applications (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Point of Sale: - The PECC Solution should include or integrate with a flexible billing engine that is compatible to handle multiple payment options such as credit card, debit card, direct banking, etc. These should include prepay and post-pay and allow for the payment of services on a time and use basis.
- Solution Services: - Call centre, helpdesk or scheduled on-site personnel (available 24/7) that will primarily provide technical support to NSHA and IWK staff, patients and/or families.
• The call center or helpdesk is expected to provide problem and resolution support for the PECC Solution directly to the patients and/or families and staff, via a toll-free number. This is critical as NSHA and IWK intend to minimize involvement of clinical staff in technical support for the PECC Solution.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than January 9, 2020.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
