[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide after-hours answering service the U.S. Department of Transportation Beaumont Reserve Fleet after business hours.
- Provide Telephone answering service for the U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration, Beaumont Reserve Fleet after business hours, Monday through Friday (3:30Pm to 7:00Am), and for 24 hours daily on Weekends and Federal Holidays or when forwarded for special occasions.
- The main purpose of the answering service is to monitor, receive and log hourly calls from the
patrolman and guard on after hours duty. The onsite Security Guards are required to call in
every hour on the top of the hour. The onsite Patrolman is required to call in every hour on the
bottom of the hour. If either of these individuals do not call in at their designated times, the
appropriate action is required to be taken by the answering service.
- Provide a daily log of all call-ins, and email or fax the log to Beaumont Reserve Fleet each
day by 8:00 a.m. the following day.
- The contractor shall answer all incoming calls when forwarded and after business hours. Incoming
calls not from Patrolman or Security Guard shall be recorded on daily record/log.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than November 26, 2019.
(3) This bid is set aside for total small business.
